Hormones that are produced by the pituitary, hypothalamus and testicles play an important role in sexual development and sperm production in Men.
When clinically indicated, testing of specific serum hormone levels of following hormones are ordered:
Abnormalities may be a sign of a Primary Hypothalamic, Pituitary, or Testicular problem. However it should be noted that a “Normal” result in the Blood test does NOT mean that there is no underlying problem.
